Powerful Acoustogeometric Streaming from Dynamic Geometric Nonlinearity

چکیده

Past forms of acoustic streaming, named after their progenitors Eckart (1948), Schlichting (1932), and Rayleigh (1884), serve to describe fluid particle transport phenomena from the macro micro-scale. Governed by viscosity, traditional streaming arises second-order nonlinear coupling between fluid's density velocity, with first-order wave time averaging zero. We a form acoustogeometric that has nonzero contribution. Experimentally discovered in nanochannels height commensurate viscous penetration depth channel, it interactions surrounding channel deformation leading order pressure field, generating flow pressures three orders magnitude greater than any known acoustically mediated mechanism. It enables propulsion fluids against significant Laplace pressure, sufficient produce $6\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{mm}/\mathrm{s}$ 130--150 nm tall nanoslit. find quantitative agreement theory experiment across variety conditions, identify maximum rate 1.59 times depth.

Strong dynamic input-output decoupling: from linearity to nonlinearity

We study the strong dynamic input-output decoupling problent (SDIODP) for nonlinear systetls' It is shown that, given a generically satisfied assumption, the solvability of tlie SDIODP around an equilibriurn point is equivalent to the solvability ofthc satne problem for the linearization of the system arourrd this equilibrium point. We introduce the Singh compensator, a dynamic state feedback o...

Dynamic path controllability in economic models From linearity to nonlinearity

In this paper we study the dynamic path controllability of discrete-time nonlinear economic models in state-space form. First we present an algorithmic procedure for testing this property for time-varying linear systems. Secondly we extend this method to general nonlinear models and we show that under generic conditions path controllability around a specific trajectory of the nonlinear system i...

Data Streaming Algorithms for Geometric Problems

A data stream is an ordered sequence of points that can be read only once or a small number of times. Formally, a data stream is a sequence of points x1, x2 . . . , xi, . . . , xn read in increasing order of the indices i. The performance of the algorithm is measured on the number of passes the algorithm must make over the data under limited memory constraints. The data streaming model is motiv...

Streaming Formats for Geometric Data Sets

Recent years have seen an immense increase in the complexity of geometric data sets. Today’s gigabyte-sized 3D models can no longer be completely loaded into the main memory of common desktop PCs. Unfortunately, most storage and exchange formats for geometric data do not account for this. They were designed years ago when models were orders of magnitudes smaller. Using these formats to store an...

Online Streaming Feature Selection Using Geometric Series of the Adjacency Matrix of Features

Feature Selection (FS) is an important pre-processing step in machine learning and data mining. All the traditional feature selection methods assume that the entire feature space is available from the beginning. However, online streaming features (OSF) are an integral part of many real-world applications. In OSF, the number of training examples is fixed while the number of features grows with t...
